Diary of a sub-pig II

"Soon, my kraken, soon," whispered a mysterious voice emanating from the darkness. "There is just a few more pork chops left until the the sacrifice is complete! Soon, we shall conquer the overworld and recreate it as a mighty squidocracy!* Muahahaha! Mwahaha!"
Meanwhile
"May I concur on that plan just a squige, son?" Billybob asked his son. "How do we get to the  lower platforms of the station where Squidron roams?"
"Well I'm glad you asked me that Dad," Bertie answered calmly. "You see, we stick our heads in the containment field, you see, and then we shake our heads around until we get little bubbles around them." And so, when they had gathered their very most  essentials, Bertie and his father did that, and then our determined duo leaped threw the Terra-Support System and into the dark depths.

Diary of a sub-pig part I

Once upon a time, there was a little piglet named Bertie. Now, this piglet had ambitions, he wanted to travel the world in a hot air balloon. This may seem like a mad dream since there are no balloons underwater. Did I mention that Bertie lives on a bacon farm in a bubble above a marine volcano. One day, Bertie asked his father:
"Dad, will I ever be able to see things like forests, mountains and plains?" Of course, Bertie's Father, Billybob, did not answer because he had gone outside to go gnaw on some seaweed. But when Billybob did come in he asked his son to please repeat the question. So Bertie did repeat it, and Billybob said:

"It depends son, it depends if the chain Squidron put on this earth rusts away soon. It depends if this bubble floats to the surface safely. It depends if it drifts toward land or not. And, of course, it always depends if Squidron converts us first." Of course, constant variables like this are part of adventure. But, of course, Bertie has a plan.
